Official Sassoon Professional Partner Salon Working with Sassoon

An Official Sassoon Partner Salon since 2012

Sassoon Professional Partner In London White
Our Sassoon Story

Fourteen years a partner

Hair Culture became an Official Sassoon Professional Partner Salon in 2012. That status has shaped how we work ever since: the cutting discipline, the colour standards, the ongoing technical training with every new Sassoon collection.

The route there began earlier. Eva, one of our two sister founders, worked her way through some of the city’s most prestigious salons before training at Sassoon Academy. The standards she brought back from that training became the foundations of the salon she went on to open with her sister Gabby.

Sassoon Partner Salon status is awarded selectively, to independent salons that meet Sassoon’s standards in cut, colour, education, and clientele. Hair Culture qualified in 2012, and the partnership has run continuously since.

What it means

Being a Sassoon Professional Partner

Sassoon Partner Salon status is selective. It is awarded to independent salons that meet Sassoon’s standards in cutting, colour, education, and clientele, and who commit to ongoing technical training with each new Sassoon collection. It is not a product distribution deal and it is not a franchise.

Hair Culture earned that status in 2012 and has held it continuously. With every new collection released by the Sassoon International Creative Team, we are retrained on the latest techniques, so the work we do today reflects what Sassoon is creating now.

For our clients

What changes when you sit in our chair

Sassoon precision cutting

Cuts engineered for the way your hair grows and moves. Clean lines, considered shape, and styles that fall back into place at home without a fight.

Sassoon Chromatology colour

Bespoke colour built for you from Sassoon Professional’s intermixable system – not a stock shade pulled off the shelf. More on this below.

Current techniques, always

Our team is retrained with each new Sassoon collection. The cut you receive today reflects the techniques Sassoon is teaching now, not last decade.

The same global standard

The technical benchmark used at Sassoon’s own salons in London, New York and Toronto is the same one we work to in Leytonstone.

Sassoon Chromatology

Colour, built for you

Sassoon Chromatology is the colour product system used by Sassoon-trained colourists worldwide. Forty-two intermixable permanent shades, designed around the principle that great colour is built for the individual client rather than picked off a chart.

At Hair Culture, your colourist has been trained on this system directly. The result is colour that is precise, true to the brief, and conditioned through Sassoon’s proprietary Intelliprotec system to hold its shine well past the appointment.

38 shade

Cremagel

The core permanent colour range. Iridescent results that enhance rather than mask the hair.

5 shades

Cremablond

High-lift blondes with the clean, cool reflections Sassoon colourists are known for.

Custom

Intensitone

Tone mixers added to core shades, so the final colour is built around you and not approximated from a swatch.

If you don’t look good, we don’t look good.

Vidal Sassoon

Vidal Sassoon opened his first salon on London’s Bond Street in 1954 and went on to redefine modern hairdressing. His geometric cuts treated hair as architecture – precise, sculptural, and designed to fall back into shape on their own. The five-point cut and the geometric bob of the 1960s set a standard that the industry is still working from.

Today Sassoon operates flagship salons, education centres, and a professional product line worldwide. The brand continues to set the benchmark in cut and colour, and partner salons like Hair Culture work to that same standard.

The team

Two sisters. Two stylists. One standard.

Hair Culture is run by two sister founders, Eva and Gabby. Both are Sassoon-trained. Both still cut and colour hair every day. There are no juniors and no assistants on the floor – when you book at Hair Culture, you are working directly with one of the salon’s two principal stylists.

Eva trained at Sassoon Academy and brought the Sassoon discipline into the salon’s foundations in 2012. Gabby has grown through every stage of that same training and works to the same Sassoon standard.
